Larry MacEachern is a facilitator and strategist. He has devoted his career to helping organizations develop and execute focused strategies. He has worked in a wide variety of contexts from marketing communications to business planning to corporate strategy and systems change; in a range of sectors. He uses a coaching approach, bringing questions and frameworks to help clients think through their biggest challenges.
Larry is a Certified Integral Facilitator who draws from years of experience and a depth of knowledge regarding techniques and methodologies. He can adapt the approach to the situation. He is particularly skilled at creating space for all participants to feel valued and heard while keeping the discussion on track to achieve the desired outcome.
As a strategist, he blends 25 years of brand strategy experience with other forms of strategic planning such as business strategy, innovation and systems change. He has worked with entrepreneurial organizations, non-profits and large corporate systems.
He likes to work with teams that are committed to making a positive difference as they strive for success. Often these teams are working in transformative environments with important challenges to be addressed.
Larry has a particular gift for synthesizing complex information and getting to the core themes in complex discussions. This helps groups get clear on the key issues and aligned on solutions.
He holds an MBA from Saint Mary’s and an undergraduate business degree from St FX University. In addition to facilitation training, he has completed a range of courses on innovation and strategy. He is an active volunteer and currently serves on the board of the QEII Foundation and the Blue Nose Marathon.
